MAYOR Oscar Moreno yesterday left for the US to speak before a gathering of Cagayanons, and brought with him Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy and four councilors.
Moreno left city hall under the care of Councilor Zaldy Ocon. Councilor Lordan Suan is the acting vice mayor in Uy’s absence.
Joining Moreno in his US trip until Sunday are councilors Yan Lam Lim, Dometilo Acenas Jr., Enrico Salcedo, and Ian Mark Nacaya. Moreno is scheduled to report back for work on Monday.
Moreno said the trip was due to the invitation for him to grace the “Tapok” of Cagayanons living in Los Angeles, California.
