AFTER Bea Alonzo’s conscious uncoupling from Dominic Roque, fans were hoping that Basha (Alonzo) and Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) would finally level up from a reel to a real relationship, and give the “One More Chance” couple a real chance to be together.

But Alonzo is now with Puregold CEO Vincent Co, and Lloydie has been with artist Isabel Santos since 2023, making reality more exciting than fiction.

To further prove that reality is more exciting than fiction, “The Naked Gun” stars Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are now dating.

Neeson is known for his role in “Taken” where, as Bryan Mills, he says, “I will find you, I will kill you” — delivered over the phone to his daughter’s kidnappers.

Neeson is now 73 and Anderson is 58. We could imagine Neeson becoming old. But Anderson starred in the TV series “Baywatch” in 1992-1997 where she wore red swimsuits as the lifeguard Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker, and for her to remain sexy and beautiful at 58 makes women of a certain age feel hopeful.

I’m a woman of a certain age. Since I didn’t have the assets that Anderson had in the ‘90s, I can’t expect for my body to suddenly morph into Barbie proportions now. Haha. I’m simply grateful for the weight loss and for discovering a sustainable diet that makes gyming easier.

The gym is now busier than usual, with several group exercise classes to choose from. Wednesday, for example, has three morning classes: Bounce, Belly Motions, and Glutes Workout.

It’s now up to the gym rat on what he wants out of his gym membership: weight loss, muscle gain, dancing, group exercise classes, or all of the above. But weight loss is achieved through diets while the gym serves as the gym rat’s happy place.

Consistency is still the key for both diet and exercise. If the diet lasts only for one day, that’s not a diet. That’s a glitch. The same goes for exercise.

The one-day diet or exercise may be justified as, At least you dieted or exercised once a week, once a month, or once a year. That’s still better compared to nothing at all. Hmmm. Who’s fooling who?

Diet and exercise can be two of the world’s most controversial topics. Vegan, vegetarian, Mediterranean, pescatarian, paleo, keto, ketovore, carnivore, lion, etc. Walking, running, biking, Zumba, belly dancing, pilates, boxing, group exercise classes, gyming, etc. What’s essential is to remember that the best diet and exercise are those that you can sustain forevermore.

Lucky is the gym whose client is paying the locked-in fees even if the only time he went to the gym was when he signed up for membership. It wasn’t possible to predict the future then. But life happens. Still, his debit or credit card is charged every month for one year.

He has never joined the gym’s group exercise classes, never used the equipment and weights, never used the rest room, and yet he’s paying monthly for a year. Thus, the gym wins? Hmmm.

A gym may give one more chance to the client, though, allowing him to freeze his account for a maximum of, say, three months, provided there’s a valid reason for his absence.
