FOR three counts of rape and acts of lasciviousness, a 40-year-old street vendor in Bukidnon was arrested by authorities over the weekend.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, the province’s police provincial director, identified the suspect as Richard Ozzaraga, married, and a resident of Purok 6, Gawad Kalinga, Kisolon, Sumilao, Bukidnon.
The suspect was arrested at 6:20 am by the combined personnel of 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company led by Police Capt. Guy Pacamo; Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit, and Sumilao Municipal Police Station.
The raiding team was armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ma. Theresa Aban-Camanong, of the Regional Trial Court 10, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Branch 09 dated May 18.
Camanong did not allow the suspect to post a bail bond for the three counts of rape charges except for the acts of lasciviousness which are P180,000 for the latter’s temporary liberty.
Ozzaraga is now temporarily detained at the Sumilao police mini-cell pending transfer to the provincial jail.
