A 44-year-old Jasaan resident was arrested by authorities in connection with a robbery case last Sunday.
Police Col. Raniel Valones, Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Juanic John Escolano, residing at Zone 4, Los Banzon of the said town in Misamis Oriental.
The suspect, who was tagged as the second most wanted person at the municipal level, was arrested by personnel assigned at Jasaan municipal police headed by
Police Major Marstar Lorenzo in coordination with Laguindingan police while at Laguindingan of the same province at 9:30 am.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Arthur Abundiente of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 44, Initao Misamis Oriental dated April 26, 2012.
Abundiente recommended the suspect post a bail bond in the amount of P180,000 for his temporary liberty.
