A 29-year-old woman is now languishing in jail for selling counterfeit vaccination cards in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Arrested during an entrapment operation was Sharlyn Abdul, single, and a resident of Barangay Tankulan, Manolo Fortich of the said province.

It was learned that prior to the arrest Manolo police led by Police Lt. Sheryl Magdalino, received information that somebody was selling bogus vaccination cards to the residents in the area.

A joint entrapment operation was then conducted by Magdalino’s men together with representatives from Manolo Municipal Health Office, headed by Katrina Tilap (Public Health Nurse), and Barangay Councilor Allan Imprugo of Barangay Tankulan.

Operating police officers were able to purchase two pieces of fake vaccination cards worth P700.00 from the suspect

Provincial Police Director Jun Mark expressed his compliment to the responding personnel for a job well done.

He also warned the public against selling, using, or manufacturing fake Covid-19 vaccination cards to the people.

He said those who will be caught will face serious legal charges. He also encouraged the community to support the police and other law enforcement agencies in fighting criminality to attain a safe and peaceful Bukidnon.
