TALISAYAN Mayor Rico T. Taray said this morning that he wanted more patrol cars for his town’s police force.
Mayor Taray said, in front of Police Major Stephen Benbian F. Latar in his office during the courtesy call, told Gold Star Daily that he would like to have more patrol cars or at least one additional patrol car.
“Ako man gud gaka obserbahan nga kanunay gyud naka patrolya ang atong mobile car ug kinahanglan tag isa para standby unit ug magamit sa hinilaling pagrespondi,” he said.

For his part, Latar thanked Taray for showing great support to the police in the area.
Latar served as deputy chief of police of Gingoog City before he became the top police officer in Magsaysay town years ago.
He also disclosed that regular mobile patrolling is part of the police visibility upon the instruction of the PNP leadership nationwide.
Latar assumed as the town’s chief of police to replace Major Ralph Santoluna who is under schooling.
