A 36-year-old suspected drug pusher is arrested on drug charges after a search warrant in Barangay Lapasan, this city yesterday afternoon.
Police say the search warrant was executed on Friday at 3 p.m. at the suspect's residence by elements assigned at police station 3 led by Police Lt. Macario Linog, Jr. and with coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 10 (PDEA-10).
City Police Director Aaron Mandia identified the suspect as Bonn Kenneth Zapra, single, Jobless, and a resident of San Miguel Village, Barangay Lapasan of the said city.
Mandia said the suspect was arrested by the police operatives in the implementation of a search warrant issued by Executive Judge Arthur Abundiente of the Regional Trial Court (RTC 10), Branch 25, on September 15, 2022.
Recovered during the search was a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P6,800 and assorted paraphernalia.
The suspect is now under the custody of the said police headquarter awaiting the filing of the appropriate case.
