CITY epidemiologist Dr. Joey Retuya today said two more persons who tested positive for Covid-19 have already recovered from the virus infection, increasing the total number of recoveries to 21.
They are the 32-year old male resident of barangay Macabalan and returning overseas Filipino (ROF) from the Middle East, and the 36-year old female resident of a gated community in barangay Lumbia and ROF from the United Arab Emirates.
After the second re-swabbing, RT-PCR test results on July 12 came out negative. The two are now categorized as ‘recovered’ and were reintegrated into their respective communities. (Ian Fuentes of CIO)
