NORTHERN Mindanao police have received a commendation from the Philippine National Police Chief, PGen. Benjamin C. Acorda Jr., for their outstanding achievements in ensuring safer streets and secure communities.

This commendation was given during the celebration of the 122nd Police Service Anniversary on September 1.
The Philippine National Police was originally established as the Philippine Constabulary under the American Regime in 1901.
Over the years, it changed and eventually became the Philippine National Police through Republic Act No. 6975 in 1990.
The commendation recognizes the efforts of PRO-10 in fulfilling their operational responsibilities and making significant contributions to public safety.
Chief Acorda expressed his appreciation for the accomplishments of the men and women of PRO-10 in ensuring the safety and security of the region.
