By NITZ ARANCON and GENEVIEVE CANTOR Correspondents TWO still unidentified gunmen shot and killed a “trisikad” driver, and badly wounded two others on Dabatian St., Carmen, this city, shortly after midnight yesterday. The Carmen police identified the fatality as  Mama Macapasir, 22, and the wounded as Jamil Laot, 22, and Alex Alab, 22. All the victims drove trisikads for a living. Insp. Joepet Paglinawan, Carmen police chief,  said the victims were lying flat on the ground when responding officers came at around 12:43 am. Paglinawan said Macapasir, who hailed from Marawi, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the JR Borja General Hospital. Police said the man who shot Macapasir was armed with a caliber .45 pistol. Laot and Alab, meanwhile, are struggling for life at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC). Paglinawan said the victims had just come from a videoke bar and were on their way home when they were attacked. Police said the motive remained to be unknown but hinted that investigators were looking into a drug angle. Paglinawan said the victims were known in the Carmen market area, and were suspected of being involved in snatching cases. He said no witness could describe the suspects because they wore masks. PO3 Leonilo Laquio said investigators found six empty shells fired from a caliber .45 pistol, and turned these over to the crime laboratory for examination.
