AN 18-year-old Barangay Gusa resident has been arrested yesterday morning by the police for stealing a motorcycle.
Cagayan de Oro City Police Office Director Aaron Mandia identified the suspect as Sam ‘Samsam’ Babion, single, unemployed, and a resident of Zone 3A of the said barangay.
His companion, identified as Reynald ‘Nads’ Reyes, 21, single, unemployed, and residing at the same place is still at-large.
Mandia said the suspect was nabbed by elements of Agora Police Station led by Police Staff Master Sgt. Luisito Ugat, Jr., together with Police Station 6 led by Police Cpl. Manjo Paasa, and barangay police in the area at about 12:30 am.
Sensing the presence of authorities, Reyes immediately ran away from the scene.
Responding policemen were able to seize the stolen Suzuki Raider 150 with a color combination of blue and black and without a plate number.
Babion is currently under the custodial facility of Agora police station while a case is being prepared for filing.
