A 66-year-old farmer who is facing various criminal offenses and tagged by the police as the third most wanted person in the area surrendered to the authority in Bukidnon.

Bukidnon Provincial Police Director Jun Mark Lagare identified the suspect as
Flaviano Camanyan, a resident of Sitio Nasandigan, Kalabugao, Impasug-ong, of the said province.

Impasug-ong Municipal Police Station chief police Major Jaemar Paguidopon said Camanyan voluntarily submitted himself to their headquarters last Saturday at 9 am and subsequently his men executed his warrant of arrest.

It was learned that the suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of arson, multiple attempted murders, frustrated murder, and illegal possession of explosives.

Judge Eldred Cole, the acting presiding judge, Regional Trial Court-Branch 10, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon recommended the suspect a bail bond amounting to ₱840,000 except illegal possession of explosives which has none-bailable.

Lagare expressed his compliment to the responding police personnel for a job well done and relentless effort to place the most wanted person under police custody. He also stated that cooperation and support of the community is the key to making Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business.
