IN Bukidnon, authorities here had arrested a 32-year-old peddler for a carnapping case, Wednesday, this week.
Police Col. Reynante Reyes, the province's Police Regional Director, identified the suspect as Charlito Bonsai alias ‘Loloy,’ single, residing at Purok 1A, Sitio Kawayanon, Barangay Lumbo, Valencia City.
He was tagged by the police as the 7th most wanted person at the provincial level.
He was nabbed by elements of Bukidnon 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company together with the Regional Special Operations Unit 10, Provincial Intelligence Unit, and other units at his residence at 10 am.
Regional Court Judge Eldred Cole of Branch 45, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, allowed Bonsai to put up a bail bond amounting to P300,000 for violation of Republic Act 10883 known as the new anti-carnapping law and the anti-carnapping act of 2016.
The suspect is presently under the custodial facility of Valencia police for proper disposition.
