CAGAYAN de Oro City is set to celebrate love and unity on the upcoming day of love, February 14, as announced by the local government led by Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy.
City mayor's office chief of staff Sheila Lumbatan even on Tuesday said that the city is gearing up to commemorate the true essence of love for all through the provision of essential services during the People's Day: Kasing-kasing Festival edition.
Lumbatan said the city hall, under the leadership of Mayor Uy, has prepared various festivities for the special edition of People's Day during the Valentine's Day celebration at the City Hall Quadrangle.
"The Kasing-kasing Festival aims to bring joy and love to the residents of Cagayan de Oro through a series of events and activities," said Lumbatan.
In line with the spirit of the occasion, Lumbatan disclosed that different exciting activities and services are being readied to provide enjoyment and assistance to the citizens.
The festival will feature a range of entertainment, cultural presentations, and vital services to cater to the needs of the community, according to Lumbatan, adding from health services to entertainment, the event promises to offer something for everyone.
