CITY Hall employees in Cagayan de Oro are getting ready for the implementation of a new Learning Management System.
The program was officially launched by the City Management Information System and Innovation Department (CMISID) and the Human Resources Management Department during the LGU CDO HR Summit 2023.
The launch took place as part of the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary at Mareana Hall, VIP Hotel.
The Learning Management System aims to provide city hall employees with a comprehensive database of available and specific training programs.
This will allow employees to focus on areas where they can excel in their current positions and job responsibilities.
The program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of city hall employees and improve their work performance.
The CMISID and HRMD staff and department managers expressed their gratitude to Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy for his continuous support of capacity development programs.
They believe that these programs will contribute to improving the work ethics, commitment, and dedication of city employees.
Sheila Lumbatan, the Chief of Staff of the Mayor's Office, emphasized Mayor Uy's dedication to enhancing the services offered by the City Hall to the people of Cagayan de Oro.
Mayor Uy has made it clear that service enhancement is a vital component of his RISE (Regional Leadership, Institutional Development, Safety and Security, and Economic Recovery) agenda.
"This agenda provides valuable insights into the 'Seal of Good Local Governance' program," said Lumbatan.
She said that by investing in capacity development programs such as the Learning Management System, Mayor Uy aims to promote effective governance and provide better services to the residents of Cagayan de Oro.
The implementation of the Learning Management System represents a significant step forward for capacity development in the city.
