A total of P20,400 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from a 20-year-old shoe repairman when a search warrant was served inside his residence in Bukidnon yesterday morning.
Bukidnon Police Provincial Director Reynante Reyes identified the suspect as Ivan Kyle Cardona, a resident of Purok 14 Lantion, Barangay Lumbo, Valencia City of the said province.
The suspect, who was tagged by the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as the 8th most wanted person at the provincial level, was arrested at 3:16 am.
Confiscated from his possession were seven small and big sachets containing suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Personnel assigned at Valencia City Police station led by Police Col. Edward Agpalza implemented the search warrant which was issued by Judge Isobel Barroso of the Regional Trial Court-10, Branch 8, Malaybalay City.
The suspect is now under the custody of Valencia police for proper disposition.
