TWO more subdivision projects will soon rise in Barangays Lumbia and Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City.
Through separate ordinances, the City Council during its regular session has approved the application for Preliminary Subdivision Development Plan (PSDP) of the two projects.
The proposed Northville Subdivision in Lumbia has an area of 11,604 square meters with 61 lots/units for its economic housing project, as applied by the Liberty Land Corporation, while Ecoverde Camaman-an Subdivision project in Camaman-an covers an area of 41,949 square meters containing 311 lots/units for economic housing project and 72 lots/units for socialized housing project, as applied by the Ecoverde Homes Corporation.
This is, however, subject to the conditions imposed by the City Engineering Office (CEO) and the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD).
Two developers are required to indicate the cleared road right-of-way and drainage structure of offsite drainage to connect any existing waterway and or functional drainage system.
These should be delineated with technical description and shall form part of the plans for development, according to the CEO.
The Ecoverde Homes Corp. is also advised to observe the 16.00 meter road right-of-way of the main road that links Camaman-an and Indahag, and consider the required volume capacity of detention pond based on a minimum 2-percent of the total applied area plus the adjoining catchment area.
The applications for PSDP were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya. (SP)
