THE Department of Health’s (DOH) Health Promotion Bureau will host its 5th media conference titled “Engaging Media Health Literacy on Environmental Health” from October 28 to 30 at the New Dawn Hotel Plus in Cagayan de Oro City.
The event aims to enhance media professionals’ literacy on environmental health issues, featuring resource speakers from Uniceg, Usaid, and the World Health Organization.
Topics will span various aspects of environmental health, offering key insights from experts in the field.
Scheduled to begin at 1 pm on October 28 and conclude by noon on October 30, the conference will provide regional health data for a more effective reportage.
At least 30 media professionals are expected to attend, contributing to broader public awareness of environmental health through their reporting.
