PRESIDENT Duterte is scheduled to be in the city today in order to visit wounded soldiers at the Army hospital in Camp Evangelista and award others for what they have accomplished.
Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar yesterday confirmed Duterte’s scheduled first presidential visit here since his election.
Andanar said Duterte would be in Camp Evangelista at around 1:30 pm where he would have a command conference with 4th Infantry Division chief Maj. Gen. Benjamin Magridal and other key military officials.
Andanar said Duterte would visit soldiers wounded as a result of encounters with New People’s Army (NPA) guerrillas, and then award other soldiers.
