A security guard and a communication lineman in Bukidnon were arrested for illegal possession of drugs last Saturday.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Police Provincial Director, identified the suspects as Nestor Torayno, 41, married, and a resident of Phase 1, Kubayan, and Nestor Albacite, 31, single, residing at Purok 20, both of Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City of the said province.
Torayno is connected with Globe Telecom as a lineman, while Albacite is a security guard
They were arrested in a buy-bust operation by personnel assigned at Malaybalay City Police Station led by Police Col. Ritchie Salva at Purok 21, of the same barangay at about 12 noon.
Recovered from them were 4 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances believed to be shabu with an estimated value of P3,060, a P500.00 buy-bust money; a mobile phone, and a Bajaj motorcycle (Kawasaki) color red.
A physical inventory was conducted in the presence of Barangay chairman Bonifacio Valiente of the said place.
A case in violation of Article II, Sections 05, 11, and 26 of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for inquest proceeding against the arrested suspects.
