By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent THE Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in  Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro yesterday decried the second attempt on the life of regional Judge Emmanuel Pasal Jr. in Purok 7, Upper Puerto at 5:45 am yesterday. Lawyer Rey Raagas, IBP-Misamis Oriental-Cagayan de Oro chapter president, issued a statement of condemnation even as he called on law enforcers to identify and arrest those behind the ambush. “Ang pag-ambush ni Judge Pasal, sama ra nga gi-ambush usab sa mga suspect ang atong judicial system,” Raagas said. He said the IBP has noted that the police have not done anything substantial in the investigation since Pasal survived the first ambush in Gusa in April. “Siempre, nadismaya kami pero   nakasabot usab kami sa IBP sa  limitasyon sa kapolisan kay unsa-on man kon wala gyud silay na-ila nga  suspect sa unang pag-ambush ni judge?” he said. Raagas said the IBP hopes that the police would exert its best efforts to identify suspects, and bring them to justice the soonest possible.
