KITAOTAO, Bukidnon Vice Mayor Mary Ann G. Angit, accompanied by department heads, visited the City Mayor's Office on Thursday to meet with Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy.
City Mayor's Office chief of staff Sheila Lumbatan stated that the primary purpose of the visit was to engage in a detailed discussion regarding the city's cemetery code and explore opportunities for development and improvement within Kitaotao.
During the meeting, Lumbatan mentioned that the officials focused on strategizing ways to enhance the existing cemetery code and propose measures to foster the overall progress of Kitaotao.
Inspired by the best practices observed at the Bolonsiri Public Cemetery, the visit served as a platform for benchmarking and exchanging valuable insights between the two localities, Lumbatan noted.
"The collaborative session emphasized the mutual commitment of both Kitaotao and the City Mayor's Office to optimizing local policies and practices for the community's benefit," Lumbatan explained.
By sharing experiences and learning from each other, officials aimed to identify innovative approaches that could lead to the improvement of the municipality’s cemetery facilities and services.
