IN a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity, the Kiwanis International Southern Philippine District, Division 4A, in collaboration with the Kiwanis Club of Northern CDO Elite and the Kiwanis Club of Metro CDO, came together to provide much-needed assistance to more than 100 children in Sto. Niño, Baluarte, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, on Monday.
The initiative, spearheaded by Division-4A Lt. Gov. Rod Seballos, saw the enthusiastic participation of President Kwn. Eric E. Daabay and members of the Kiwanis Club of Northern CDO Elite, as well as the presence of Kwn. Jazzi Villalba and members of the Kiwanis Club of Metro CDO.
Together, they organized a feeding program and gift-giving activities aimed at bringing joy and relief to the children in the community.
Speaking about the initiative, Daabay expressed that the primary goal of the activity was to fulfill the mission of Kiwanis International, which is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children worldwide.
Daabay said that by providing essential nourishment and spreading happiness, the clubs hoped to contribute to the well-being and development of the young ones in Sto. Niño, Baluarte.
The event itself was a resounding success, with children and volunteers alike coming together in a spirit of camaraderie and unity.
