A total of 233 infrastructure projects valued at over P1.24 billion have been completed since the start of City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy’s administration on June 30, 2022.
This information is detailed in the Physical Accomplishment Report for Completed Projects of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, prepared by the Office of City Engineer Joel V. Momongan and submitted on March 31, 2025.
In just over two years and nine months of Mayor Uy’s first term, the administration has achieved significant milestones in infrastructure development.
Among these are the completion of 68 flood mitigation structures and drainage projects worth P425.6 million.
Additionally, 64 road concreting, opening, reblocking, and widening projects amounting to P298.7 million have been finished, along with four water system projects valued at P18.1 million.
A school building project worth P5 million has also been completed.
Furthermore, the administration has completed 95 various infrastructure projects totaling P490.7 million, including office repairs and renovations, the construction of barangay halls and multipurpose buildings, child development centers, perimeter fences, and other facilities.
Engineer Momongan expressed optimism that the number of completed projects will continue to increase, as many ongoing projects under Mayor Uy’s administration are still in progress.
Momongan said Mayor Uy’s leadership in project implementation demonstrates the city’s continuous progress and development aimed at improving the lives of its residents.
