CITY Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy took charge in organizing the 'Walk for a Cause' event, marking the start of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The event aimed to raise awareness and address the pressing issue of suicide in our society.

Bringing together friends, families, mental health advocates, and concerned citizens, the 'Walk for a Cause' showcased the community's commitment to combating the stigma surrounding mental health.

The event sparked hope that with unity, understanding, and care, we can change the way society perceives and talks about mental health.

Mayor Uy emphasized that the event was just the beginning and encouraged ongoing conversations about mental health and suicide prevention within homes, workplaces, and communities.
