A WAVE of festivity swept across Cagayan de Oro City Hall this Christmas season as Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy celebrated another Christmas party for the city's political leaders, Wednesday morning.
Orchestrated by the City Mayor's Office, the event reflected deep appreciation and recognition for these public servants.
Although Mayor Uy could not personally attend the event, he was represented by Shiela Lumbatan, the Chief of Staff of the City Mayor's Office.
Lumbatan played a magnificent hostess, mingling and engaging with hundreds of 'Klarex' political leaders who attended the event.

Her presence symbolized Mayor Uy's long-standing respect and gratitude for their support within the city.
Adding to the holiday cheer was the distribution of specially-curated Christmas gifts by Mayor Uy to each of the political leaders present.
This gesture of giving symbolized the mayor's regard for those who are instrumental in shaping the city.
Political leaders hailing from all 80 barangays of Cagayan de Oro graced the event, promoting inclusivity and ensuring a city-wide representation.
To enhance the festivities, a raffle was held. Prizes of varied range, including appliances and a motorcycle, were awarded to a few lucky ones, turning the day even more memorable for them.

The Christmas party, as Lumbatan noted, was not just a celebration but a ceremony of gratitude from Mayor Uy, honoring the contributions of these political leaders.
It was their renewed spirit for service that the Mayor wanted to appreciate, their resilience as frontline warriors for their respective communities, according to Lumbatan.
In addition to this, Lumbatan shared Mayor 'Klarex' Uy's prayers for the continued spirit of such community frontliners into the coming year.
The mayor acknowledged the adversities and triumphs of the past year, stressing the importance of maintaining this shared spirit to face future challenges together.
Indeed, Lumbatan said the Christmas party ended up serving as a vibrant reminder of togetherness and resilience in the face of trials, successfully bolstering the city's spirit of unity and mutual support.
