DURING Monday’s flag raising program, Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy expressed his commitment to bringing his government closer to the residents of Cagayan de Oro.
Despite a change in name, Mayor Uy assured that the weekend program 'Suroy-Suroy Sa Baryo (SSB)' would continue to provide the same high-quality City Hall services, which were previously offered under the name 'Klarex Nga Serbisyo Sa Baryo (KSB).'
These services were established at the beginning of his administration and have been extended to every barangay in the city.
"Come with me, let's go on a village tour. We will visit different neighborhoods in the city to see what needs to be added or improved to help the people," said Uy in the Visayan dialect.
Mayor Uy's dedication to bridging the gap between the government and the people is evident through the implementation of the Suroy-Suroy Sa Baryo program.
