NORTHERN Mindanao Eagles Region has taken a significant leap towards public service with the creation of a new region, Bagwis Dos.
The newly chartered region is under the leadership of now Eagle Governor Eric E Daabay, who is set to guide the region towards its objectives.
The historic creation event was a grand success, with hundreds of attendees and representatives from various regions across Mindanao, including Davao, Caraga, Bukidnon, Marawi, and Lanao areas.
"The event last night showcased the unity and collaboration among the different regions, highlighting their shared dedication to serving the public," said Eagle governor Daabay.
As stated by Kuya Gov Eric, with the appointment of Paul Bernie Ragandang as the Regional Vice Governor, Gov Daabay will spearhead the new region with a strong dedication to fostering a powerful sense of brotherhood, all while striving to fulfill the vision of the fraternal order of Philippine Eagle.
The event was further graced by the presence of the Hon. Mayor Meraluna Abrogar from the municipality of Claveria, who expressed her support for the new leadership.
The event emphasized the importance of brotherhood and collaboration among the regions in Mindanao, Gov. Daabay stressed.
"The primary goal is to bring about fruitful projects in nearby cities and municipalities, including medical and dental programs, feeding initiatives, educational support through the BRIGADA ESKWELA program, and more," said Kuya Gov. Daabay.
Gov. Daabay also said that the Royal Knights Eagles Club has seen a rise in membership after newly inducted members led by Eagles Ben Balce and ARD of DepEd Eagle Frederick Martin.
"The club aims to support young students in public schools and boost literacy rates by introducing innovative learning approaches, particularly in remote areas," said Eagle Gov Daabay.
The newly created BAGWIS DOS Region comprises eight clubs: Aghasa-a Eagles Club, Villa Anchor, Eagles Club, Tagoloan Eagles Club, Tagoloan Lady Eagles Club, East Timbalo Eagles Club, Cdo Horizon Eagles Club, Royal Knights Eagles Club, and Royal Knights Lady Eagles Club.
During the historic night, the club presidents have pledged to provide personal service to the community and the country, honoring their mantra, "Service through strong bond of brotherhood."
Gov. Daabay explained the formation of "Bagwis Dos" represents a significant milestone in the Northern Mindanao Eagles Region's journey of service and brotherhood.
As all elder brothers in the various clubs expressed their commitment to backing the recently established region and its communities, Gov Daabay proudly proclaims, "Mabuhay ang Agila mabuhay ang Bagwis Dos.
