NO bail bond has been recommended for a rape suspect who is also the number 1 most wanted person in one of the towns of Misamis Oriental.
Provincial Police Director Raniel Valones, identified the suspect as Juanito Topia, 47, and residing at Purok 9, Barangay Poblacion, Laguindingan of the said province.
He was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted by personnel assigned at Laguindingan Municipal Police Station under the direct supervision of Police Major Lister Ceriales at the former's residence at 3 pm Thursday, this week.
Judge Jamel Mamutuk of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 44, Initao Misamis Oriental who was also the one who issued the warrant of arrest, did not allow the suspect to post bail for his supposed temporary freedom.
Topia is now under the custody of Laguindingan police.
