By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent COUNCILOR Zaldy Ocon on Friday called on all groups concerned about the proposal to open a casino at Limketkai center to submit their position papers to the city council’s committee on games and amusement. Ocon said the position papers should be submitted before the committee’s second meeting next month. The committee had its first meeting on the proposed casino of Friday afternoon. The hearing was dominated by groups opposed to the Limketkai group’s plan. But Ocon said the city council’s decision on the application of Limkekai and Sons Inc. would likely be made a month or two months from now, and it would be based on the law. Ocon said he hoped groups like the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and Iglesia Filipina Independiente, among others, would make their positions known in the next committee meeting. “I think we have to hear some other opinion. Daghan pa kaayo ang wala dinhi... we need to listen to our people in Cagayan de Oro so that we can really decide,” said Councilor Edna Dahino.
