THE Cagayan de Oro Electric Power and Light Co., Inc. (Cepalco) has release its newest schedule of blackout affecting some parts of Cagayan de Oro city on Sunday November 15.
The scheduled power interruption is due to the facilitation of line conductors stringing of a 69KV line and upgrading of a 13.8KV line conductor along Macasandig gym.
The blackout is set at 6 am to 6 pm (12 hours) affecting greater parts of Barangay Macasandig and some parts of Barangay Nazareth covering Taguanao, Aluba and Buena Oro.
Cepalco will also be implementing a power switching from 6 am to 7:30 am (1 hour 30 minutes) and again at 4:30 pm to 6 pm in Tambo, Tibasak, Biasong and in some parts of the city proper and DV Soria.
Power will however be restored without prior notice when Cepalco line, switching and upgrading works are completed earlier than expected.
