A 42-year-old farmer in Bukidnon was arrested by authorities for facing an arson case, yesterday at 2 pm.
Police Capt. Benjamin Alvarez 111, Talakag Municipal Police Station head, identified the suspect as Warner Angel alias 'War', married,
and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Miarayon, Talakag of the said province.
The suspect, who is the number 1 most wanted person in the said town, was arrested at sitio Paganan, Barangay Tagbak of the said town.
Talakag police personnel together with Bukidnon Intelligence Unit Tracker Team, 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Regional Mobile Force Company-10, and 1004th MC. nabbed Angel by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by a court on March 17, 2010.
A Judge recommended the suspect with no bail bond for the latter's temporary liberty.
The suspect is now under the custody of Talakag police for proper disposition.
Police Provincial Director Restituto Lacano, Jr., expressed his compliment to the responding personnel for a job well done and placed the arrested person under police custody.
He also stated that cooperation and support of the community is the key to making Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business.
