Bacunawa alleged that Ramonal sold a police agent, who posed as a buyer, P500 worth of suspected shabu before police searched Ramonal’s house based on a warrant from a Gingoog-based regional court.

Inside, police claimed to have found some P30 thousand worth of suspected shabu, paraphernalia and a red home-made shotgun.

Ramonal, however, denied that there was a buy-and-bust operation. He also asserted that the sachets of suspected shabu were not his, and that he did not sell illegal drugs. Ramonal only admitted to owning the gun.

Maj. Bacunawa said Ramonal has been under police surveillance for some time now and that authorities were informed about his activities by drug suspects who were arrested earlier. (Herbie Gomez)
