FOR five counts of rape through sexual assault and acts of lasciviousness, a 50-year-old farmer in Bukidnon was arrested and is now languishing in jail.
The province’s acting Police Provincial Director Restituto Lacano, Jr., identified the suspect as Sammy dela Cruz married, and a resident of Sitio Kauswagan, Barangay Miaray, Dangcagan of the said province.
The suspect, who was tagged by authorities as the most wanted person at the town level, was arrested by operatives assigned at Dangcagan police station by virtue of a warrant of arrest on May 21 at 4 pm.
The court recommended he put up a bail bond of P180,000 for his temporary freedom.
The suspect is now under the custody of Dangcagan police for proper disposition.
