THE “Meet the Press” a weekly program of the Cagayan de Oro Press Club (COPC) has a new home on the 5th Floor of SM CDO Downtown in Cagayan de Oro City after it was relaunched on September 20.
The launch was done through the efforts of the management of SM Downtown led by mall manager Lovelle See and the Cagayan de Oro Press Club that created the partnership.
In her welcome message, See assured her support for the press club’s weekly program.
See expressed her gratitude to the COPC for choosing SM Downtown as the new venue for its media forum.
The relaunching was led with the cutting of the ribbon by SM manager See, and COPC president Frank Mendez.

The activity also witnessed with Director Aminoden Guro of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-10, Police City Director Col Salvador Radam, and P/Major Joann Navarro, PNP 10 Spokesperson, among others.
For his part, Mendez called on club members to support the event that will be held every Wednesday morning from 10 o'clock to 11: o'clock in the morning.
“Gusto ko lang pasalamatan ang SM sa ilang paningkamot uban pud sa paninguha sa akong mga kauban sa Cagayan de Oro Press Club nga ma partnership kini,” said Mendez.
Press Club Director Amor Balisan, who chairs the "Meet the Press" program said the venue offered by the SM Downtown done in a partnership through the memorandum of understanding.
COPC vice president for print Leonardo Vicente ‘Cong’ B. Corrales said the activity every Wednesday is also open to all media outlets, members or non-members of the club.
