SENATOR Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. delivered assistance to thousands of residents across Mindanao on Monday, as part of his regular Bayanihan Relief (BR) program.
The senator’s visit spanned several provinces, including Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, and Sultan Kudarat, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.
Revilla began his day by leading the oath-taking ceremony of new members of the Lakas-CMD party, where he serves as the party’s National Chairman.
Following this, the senator proceeded to Sultan Kudarat in Maguindanao del Norte, where he distributed financial aid to over 2,500 beneficiaries, each receiving ₱2,000. He was accompanied by Congressman Dimple Mastura and Vice Mayor Shameem Mastura during the distribution.
Revilla’s team then moved to Datu Odin Sinsuat, also in Maguindanao del Norte, where he distributed an additional ₱4 million in aid. Each recipient received ₱2,000. Mayor Lester Sinsuat joined him in the activity.
In the afternoon, the senator continued to Datu Abdullah Sangki in Maguindanao del Sur, where he provided financial assistance to the community alongside Governor Bai Mariam Mangudadatu. As in the other areas, each beneficiary received ₱2,000.
Revilla capped the day in Sultan Kudarat province, where he, together with Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu, distributed further aid to local residents.
“As I always say, we are merely giving our fellow Filipinos what they rightfully deserve from the government. I hope this will help meet their daily needs until their lives improve,” Revilla said.
The senator assured continued support for his constituents, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling his duties as a public servant. “We will never tire of visiting and helping our fellow countrymen. This is our responsibility, and we will never turn our backs on it,” he added. (PR)
