CAGAYAN de Oro City 2nd District Representative Rufus Rodriguez today commended Luis Jalandoni for expressing the National Democratic Front of the Philippines' (NDFP) willingness to engage in peace and development discussions with the government. 

Rodriguez has long supported the resumption of peace talks with the NDFP and the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army, advocating for a peaceful Philippines as beneficial for all. 

“Early in PBBM’s administration I already advocated for the resumption of peace talks with the NDFP and the CPP-NPA,” said Rodriguez.

He even believes that a peaceful Philippines will be beneficial to all.

Jalandoni, representing the NDFP internationally, shared crucial information about their efforts to bring democratic changes to the country.

They are committed to fighting for the rights and well-being of overlooked Filipino communities, according to Jalandoni. 

Their intention is to engage in peaceful dialogue with the government to find sustainable solutions to the root causes of conflict.

Through their support of social justice, the NDFP seeks to build a society that accurately represents the aspirations and needs of the Filipino masses.
