WHILE police investigators are still looking for the suspect who shot and killed a roving security guard in Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City, another security officer of one of the car dealers in Cagayan de Oro City was shot to death by a still unidentified suspect in Barangay Kauswagan yesterday.

Police Major Mario Mantala of police station 4 in Carmen, identified the victim as Ritchel Lor, alias ‘Eching,’ 45, a resident of Barangay Pagatpat, this city. He was the head guard of the Ford car dealer outlet located at the same barangay and connected with Millennium Security Agency.

Mantala said the victim was with other two friends taking their snack at the burger outlet located at Phase 2 NHA, of the said barangay when he was shot.

Matud pa sa nakakita kamulong pangisnak ang biktima kauban ang duha niya ka mga amigo sa dihang adunay miduol ug sa walay pangutana namusil,” Mantala said.

The victim succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds to his body resulting in his sudden death.

He said the trigger man, who was with another companion on a motorcycle XRM with color black and white combination, was wearing a black t-shirt and black helmet, shot the victim at close range.

After killing Lor, the suspect took the money from one of the victim’s companions worth P7,000 cash before going back to the waiting motorcycle and speeding away.

Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives found four empty shells and two slugs near the body.

Mantala said they will conduct a thorough investigation on the incident to identify the suspects and to know the motive of the killing.

It can be recalled that on March 13, a certain Feliciano Beljot, a roving security officer, was shot and killed by a still unidentified suspect while at Barangay Camaman-an.

Police investigators are still facing a blank wall on the said incident.
