FOR committing an offense in connection with the anti-crime against women and children, a 27-year-old person was arrested by authorities yesterday.

Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Len Nichol Talines, single, and a resident of Purok 4, North Poblacion, Don Carlos of the said province.

The court Judge slapped the suspect with a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty.

He was nabbed Purok 1, Barangay Poblacion of the said town at 10:35 pm.

He was charged under Republic Act 9262 in relation to section 6 of RA 1075 better known as the Cyber Crime Prevention Act ― a crime committed by means of a computer.

He was arrested by personnel from the 2nd Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company led by Police Col. Arnel Polo together with the City Mobile Force Company – Cagayan de Oro City Police Office, Don Carlos police, and Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit.

The said arrest was by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Evelyn Nery of the Regional Trial Court 10, Branch 19, Cagayan de Oro City dated June 7, 2022.

The suspect is now under the custodial facility of Bukidnon 2nd PMFC for proper disposition.
