ZUELLIG Family Foundation and Interphil Laboratories have made a significant donation of medicines worth over a million pesos to the city of Cagayan de Oro, as announced by Sheila Lumbatan, the Chief of Staff of the City Mayor's Office Monday.
This generous act was acknowledged and appreciated by Mayor Rolando Klarex Uy during a courtesy visit from Dr. Anthony Faraon, the Deputy Executive Director of Zuellig Family Foundation, and Carlito Realuyo, the Marketing Head of Interphil Laboratories.
As part of the visit, Lumbatan said Dr. Faraon and Realuyo were presented by City Health Officer Dr. Rachel Dilla during the flag-raising ceremony at the city hall.
Dr. Dilla expressed her gratitude and highlighted the significance of the donated medicines to Mayor Klarex's administration, according to Lumbatan.
"The donated medicines are especially in relation to the Klarex Serbisyo sa Baryo program, which aims to provide medical services to communities every Saturday," said Lumbatan.
The Zuellig Family Foundation and Interphil Laboratories expressed their hope that the donated medicines would greatly contribute to the city's health programs, particularly in improving the well-being of the residents of Cagayan De Oro.
"Their support and collaboration are expected to have a positive impact on the various health initiatives and endeavors aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the people of the city," stressed Lumbatan.
She added that the donation of the said essential medicines underscores the commitment of both the Zuellig Family Foundation and Interphil Laboratories to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the Kagay-anon community.
"Their generosity serves as an inspiration for other organizations and individuals to contribute towards the betterment of society," said Lumbatan.
Adding, "by working together, we can create a healthier and more prosperous future for all," Lumbatan shared.
