MISAMIS Oriental government lit its Christmas lights tonight. The official lighting ceremony was headed by Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano. He said the lights are his way of thanking the constituents of the province for supporting his nine years in serving them.

The lighting ceremony was witnessed by hundreds of people who took turns in taking their selfies. The event opened with a fireworks display. Photos and video by Shiela Mae Butlig
