A GARBAGE collector of one of the rural barangays of Cagayan de Oro City was arrested by police operatives for illegal possession of drugs in a buy-bust operation yesterday.
Cagayan de Oro City Police Office Director Aaron Mandia, identified the suspect as Raffy Diver Labares, 37, married, and a resident of Zone 2, Casa Talihay, Barangay Cugman of the said city.
He was nabbed at the same place by police station 3 in Agora led by Police Capt. Ernesto Sanchez at 3 pm.
Confiscated from the suspect were 14 transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P13,600, two android cellphones, and a P1,000 bill buy-bust money.
The suspect was brought to police station 3 in Agora for recording and documentation and case filing.
