A 22-year-old college student in Bukidnon was arrested by authorities for a child abuse case Wednesday, this week.
Police Col. Reynante Reyes, the province’s police regional director, identified the suspect as Jess Ivan, a single, college student of one of the schools in the area, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Sagbayan, Dangcagan of the said province.
He was arrested by personnel assigned at Dangcagan municipal police station together with the 2nd Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company and other units at his residence at 7:30 am.
Judge Eldred Cole of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 45, Malaybalay City, recommended a bail bond of P80,000.00 for the former’s temporary liberty.
Ivan is now under the custodial facility of Dangcagan police for proper disposition.
