IN Bukidnon, a 39-year-old farmer was arrested for a rape case over the weekend.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Ruel Arnoco, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Capinonan, Cabanglasan of the said province.
He was nabbed by police elements assigned at Cabanglasan Municipal Police Station together with Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit, and 1st Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company at 10 am at his residence.
Judge Isobel Barroso of the Regional Trial Court 10, Branch 8, Malaybalay City, who issued the warrant of the arrest last April 7, 2022, recommended the suspect to put up a bail bond of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
Arnoco is now under the custody of Cabanglasan police for proper disposition.
