By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent THE city council yesterday approved a nearly P100-million supplemental budget for city hall this year, just 19 days before year-end. Ordinance no. 2016-82 or Supplemental Budget no. 3 covers for P86.2 million to be sourced from city hall’s general fund, and some P11.9 million from the local economic enterprises fund. The additional budget passed, and was endorsed by the city council’s finance committee chaired by Councilor Edna Dahino on Friday. The city council also approved two other ordinances to allow the Moreno administration to give city hall officials and employees P15 thousand in additional incentives in time for the holidays. Ordinance 2016-80 authorizes city hall to give every city hall employee P5 thousand each as productivity enhancement incentive. The city council also approved Ordinance 2016-81 that authorizes city hall to give the officials and employees P10 thousand each as personnel motivation incentive. The ordinances were certified as urgent by Mayor Oscar Moreno.
