A Israeli was shot and killed by still unidentified suspects while driving his motorcyle at Barangay Nazareth at 7 pm yesterday.
Police Staff Sgt. Roger Bantolis of Macasandig police station, identified the victim as Reuven Baranovich, 66, a resident of 11th-20th streets of the said Barangay.
The victim, according to police was into a lending business.
Police investigators are eyeing the angle that many of his clients were not able to pay their loans that resulted to a legal fight in court.
Police said the filing of cases by the victim might have irked some of his lenders.
Baranovich was wearing black short pants and a green t-shirt when the incident happened.
