A 24-year-old lotto teller in Bukidnon who made selling illegal drugs as his sideline was arrested by authorities during a buy-bust operation yesterday.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Edrian Roma, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Dicklum, Manolo Fortich of the said province.
He was nabbed by the operating team at Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station while at Purok 4, Gaboc, Barangay Lingi-on of the same municipality at 12:40 pm.
Police said that during the operation, the suspect received the buy-bust money from the poseur-buyer in exchange for a heat-sealed transparent cellophane sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu worth P500.
Confiscated from the suspect were four sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P1, 088, a P500 bill, and some illegal drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is now under police custody at the said station.
