A FEMALE passenger rushed to the police station and reported that two suspects held her up while inside a jeepney yesterday.
The incident, which occurred at 10 am was the third to happen in a day in Cagayan de Oro City yesterday.
Police Maj. Mario Mantala, Jr., Police Station 4 commander, identified the victim as Jenny Pacaldo, 28, single, and residing at Sitio Macanhan, Barangay Carmen of the said city.
Pacaldo told police the suspects took away her two mobile phones all amounting to P36,000 including her P6,000 cash.
The victim narrated to investigators that the suspects embarked on the multicab she was riding while at Macanhan and upon reaching Ysalina bridge, the suspects, who were armed with bladed weapons, declared a hold-up and carted away her personal belongings.
On her Facebook account, the victim stated that she was traumatized by the incident.
“Gakurog pa ko hangtud karon. Gitionan ko’g kutsilyo sa kilid sabay sa pag ingon ‘hold up ni ambi imong bag.’ Lord God importante buhi ko wala ko patya,” Pacaldo said.
After the incident, the suspects disembarked at the same place and vanished.
