By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent AUTHORITIES held two container vans loaded with assorted firecrackers in Gusa yesterday. Jane Docallos, city director of the  Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and chair of the  Task Force on Firecrackers that was created by Mayor Oscar Moreno, said the firecrackers would be seized unless the owner could present documents. The container vans, parked along the Gusa highway, were traced to Lincoln Trading owned by Engr. Mark Gesalem. The container vans were inspected by Docallos along with acting city administrator Dionne  Gersana, district fire  marshall Rommel Villafurte, police officers, and representatives of the Department  of  Trade  and Industry. Docallos said they found 14 boxes containing five thousand  rounds of “Judas Belt” in one of the container vans. “Kining atong inspection usa pa  lamang  kini  ka verification sa product  standard  niini nga mga  produkto,”  she said. Docallos said Lincoln  Trading was given till Wednesday to show them supporting documents. “Kon dili sila maka-produce sa mga  documents, amo na kini nga i-confiscate,”  she said. Meanwhile,  city administrator Gersana said Lincoln Trading owner was given a permit by city hall to sell firecrackers. There were two others that were given similar permits: Jeffrey Ang, a former  president of the Cagayan de Oro  Chamber of Commerce, and DD  Toys. Gersana said the establishments of the other two permit-holders would be inspected, too, like Lincoln Trading.
