FOUR persons have been killed while two others were wounded, including a minor, after they were shot to death and hacked over an alleged land dispute in Sitio Kiabacat, Songco, Lantapan in Bukidnon yesterday at 8:30 in the morning.
Police Col. Reynante Reyes, the province’s provincial director, identified the fatalities as Rocky Cruz, 33, married; Rachel Cruz, 19; Winlove Sinto, 30; and Daniel Lugnasan, 54.

Rocky and Rachel sustained gunshot wounds to the back of the head and to the left breast, respectively. While Sinto was shot in the chest, and Lugsanan sustained a hacked wound to his face.
Mael Lugsanay, 30, was also shot in the stomach. While a minor sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen including his left and right hand.

Both are now in the hospital for treatment.
All the victims are residents of Sitio Kiabacat, Barangay Songco, Lantapan of the said province.
The said barangay is 30 kilometers, more or less, away from Lantapan Police Station and can only be reached by foot.
Police identified the suspects as Julie Saway, married; Dindo Saway; Elfredie Saway, and all residing at Purok 2, Barangay Songco, Lantapan of the said province.
In an initial investigation, it was learned that the suspects had forcibly entered the house of Mael Lugnasan and shot him and his companions using an unknown caliber of firearms.
After shooting the former, the suspects proceeded to the house of Daniel Lugnasan which is located just nearby and once they were inside they started hacking the victim using a bolo.
As this developed, Reyes immediately ordered a manhunt operation against the suspects and conduct a thorough investigation.
